Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez, a Mexican-American performer and actress, is quite famous. Her mother was her primary caregiver in the USA and she was subject to several racial stereotypes, which made her feel like a non-person. When she attended a 9th grade school audition in which she received praises for her singing as she built confidence. This not only increased her confidence, but it altered the direction she pursued in her career. In the year 22 she was able to graduate from in the Julliard School of New York. At the age of 23, her first Broadway appearance in Paul Simon's The Capeman, and her debut film, You've Got Mail, were her biggest breakthroughs. In the Broadway version of the original show Spamalot she portrayed The Lady of The Lake and was awarded the Tony Award as well as critical praise. Her fame grew when she appeared in Grey's Anatomy on ABC as Dr. Callie Torres. She is also a known singer and has produced an extended show. She is also an activist and works extensively in the field of LGBT rights.
