Dwayne is the Pastor-in-Charge of Wellspring Church in Charlotte NC the church he established in 2007. The church is also part of the Acts 29 Network, where he is the Director of Pastoral Care. Dwayne is also a believer for training future generations of biblical counselors. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Biblical Counseling Coalition. He has written several online pieces as well as a contributing author in the book Christ-Centered Biblical Counseling Change lives through the eternal truth of God (eds. Kelleman, Viars).
