Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy (born June 13th 1962) is an American actor from the United States. Her debut in film was Bad Boys (1983). Following that she enrolled in the Bratpack group and appeared as a character in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club(1985) as well as Short Circuit (1986). Sheedy's performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (2000) won her the Independent Spirit Award, Best Female Actor. Ally Sheedy was born in the US and is an actor and an author. She began her film career with the crime drama film Bad Boys in the early 1980s for which she was quite appreciated. Rick Rosenthal directed the movie and also starred popular stars Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown Alan Ruck. The film's first big success was the catalyst for her to be a part of The Breakfast Club, a comedy-drama in 1985. The film of John Hughes, The Breakfast Club is considered as one of high school cinema's best films. Although it was a budget of only one million dollars, the film's profits exceeded $50 million. While appearing in CBS Schoolbreak, which was also her television debut. It was a show for teenagers and began airing in April of 1980. She also appeared on other shows on TV, including Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues. Her most recent appearances include Little Sister, a film that follows a super-hero, where Sheedy is a small cameo. Sheedy has won many awards in 2005 due to her performances. She also received the by the MTV Movie Award, Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
